GUYANESE were seen in a ‘hustle and bustle’ last evening getting either their Mash outfits or their stalls completed for the big day.This newspaper roamed streets of Georgetown last evening to have a glimpse of the preparations. And some young ladies were seen purchasing accessories to complete their Mash outfits. Speaking with one of them, she explained that she worked late all week and only got some time yesterday to get her outfit for Mash.
Many persons were seen on Vlissengen Road constructing their stalls and some have even started to stock their temporary bars. Speaking with some young men on the road, they said that they would have started doing some selling since last night. “You know Guyanese, they will start sport early.”
