POLICE investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident involving a van and motor cyclist Suraj Chandradai of Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice on August 13 last. Investigations have so far revealed that the 35-year-old Chandradai allegedly drove out of an access road onto the main road and into the path of the motor van which struck him down, at about 15:10 hrs on the day in question.

He was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital in Region Five, but succumbed while receiving medical treatment.

The driver of the motor van is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
