Jamaica crush ICC Americas by seven wickets

Jamaica registered a crushing win over ICC Americas in third round matches of the Regional –Under 19 One-Day Championships yesterday.

Playing at the the Everest ground, an impressive four wicket haul from Ramaal Lewis demolished the ICC batting as they crumbled for 123 in 23.2 overs, and crashed to their third straight defeat.
Lewis finished with 4 for 18 while Oshane Thomas picked up 2 for 23 in the rain shortened fixture.
Jamaica coasted to victory reaching 126 for three in 22 overs on the efforts of an unbeaten 49 from Mark Parchment and 39 each from Odaine McCatty and Shahid Crooks.
At Enmore Recreation Ground, rain forced abandonment without a ball bowled in the match between Leeward Islands and Windward Islands. (CMC)
