PERSONS yesterday gathered at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (Brickdam Cathedral) to join with the rest of the Christian world in observing Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of the season of Lent.
Many persons took time off from their daily schedules to attend mass, receive their ashes and communion and settle for a moment of quite prayer to usher in the season of Lent.
