MINI-BUS conductor Horace Browne, 33, was ordered to post $45,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Zamilla Alli, on January 3, charged with threatening a passenger. At Cove and John Court, the charge he faced said he threatened Mandisa Skeete on Thursday, January 2, at Victoria, also on the East Coast of Demerara, whereby a breach of the peace might have been occasioned.
Police Inspector John Singh, prosecuting, said the virtual complainant had travelled on a Route 44 mini-bus when the defendant used the language towards her.
She made a report and the defendant was, subsequently, arrested and charged.
He is expected to return to Court on February 5, for report.
