BASDEO Sital, of Lot 5 Lusignan, appeared at Cove and John Court on January 3, to answer two charges.

One alleged that, on Wednesday, January 1, at Vigilance, East Coast Demerara and within public hearing, he behaved in a disorderly manner and the other said he unlawfully and maliciously damaged three zinc sheets, valued $20,000, property of Sohan Narine.
Sital explained to the Court that he was under the influence of alcohol and his unusual actions was as a result of him consuming it.
Magistrate Zamilla Alli admonished him about his drinking habit but granted him a total of $50,000 bail on the two charges and postponed the cases to February 13.
