FORTY-THREE-year-old Percival Williams of Hague Village, West Coast Demerara was stabbed to death on Saturday night during an argument with a woman over Gy$1,000 she claimed she had given him days ago to buy her a meal, but which he allegedly converted to his own use and benefit.

Police said Williams, a suspected drug addict, was embroiled in an argument with the woman when she reportedly stabbed him to his chest. He was rushed to the Leonora Cottage Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The woman has been arrested, and is in custody assisting with police investigations.
