THE Guyana Police Force reported that, at about 15:30 hrs yesterday, pedestrian, Nazo Saddick, 80 years, of Little Diamond, East Bank of Demerara, was crossing the main road at Little Diamond when she was struck down by a motor vehicle.The police said she was pronounced ‘dead on arrival’ at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
