Courts celebrates 20th birthday at branches around the country

COURTS Guyana Inc. celebrated a major milestone yesterday as it marked its 20th anniversary in Guyana with a series of events at all eight branches around the country.

Guyana Chronicle visited the Courts branch on Main Street, Georgetown, where celebrations were in full swing with a grand cake cutting ceremony, free refreshments for customers, in-store music and a party like no other.
In addition to the party, Courts also presented several prizes to a few lucky customers.
altSajjid Islcem received $30,000 worth of books; Stevanelte Pearson got a complete computer system, while Enet Payne, Rajdai Churanman and Carmen Rambarran received $350,000 worth of Dream Entertainment Room as part of the recent Frigidaire Appliance Promotion.
Speaking to the media, Managing Director, Clyde Dehaas noted that it’s definitely a milestone that Courts has achieved. He thanked everyone for their continuous support, especially customers and staff, and more specifically those who have been with them for over 20 years.
Courts Guyana Inc was established in 1993 with its first branch being on Main Street, Georgetown and it was then under the name Geddes Grant.
Courts now has eight stores around the country.
