On the lighter side of life… Judge exhausts pen recording Rosignol murder trial

JUSTICE Ravindra Singh was forced to stall his recording of the Rosignol murder trial at the Berbice Assizes after the ink in his pen ran out.

Turning to the registrar who was seated below, the judge requested a replacement pen, but the lady was caught off guard, as she was not accustomed to having such a request.
Thereafter seeming terrified, she scurried out of the courtroom to the astonishment of observers; but seven minutes later, she returned to the court room armed with black and blue ink pens, which she calmly offered for the judge’s selection. He chose a black ink one and continued his recording.
