THE BERBICE Cricket Board-organised, Universal DVD Club-sponsored first division T20 competition continued last Sunday with three more rescheduled matches, which were highlighted by the batting performance of Police’s middle-order batsman Philbert Willburgh and the bowling of Heeralall Bridgelall.
Willburgh blasted 92 off just 60 balls, the highest individual score of the tournament so far, with 11 sixes and four fours to singlehandedly guide Police to a four-wicket victory over D’Edward who, rebounded from that loss to defeat Port Mourant Karibee Rice by four wickets in their second match of the day.
