Camille’s Institute of Business & Science holds 12th graduation

CAMILLE’s Institute of Business and Science held its 12th Annual Graduation Ceremony at the Princess Hotel at Providence, East Bank Demerara on Saturday.

altThirty-five students from a total of 56 who had written the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate examinations (CSEC) in 2013 obtained passes in five or more subjects; while a 100% pass rate was recorded in Agriculture Science; 83% in Principles of Business; 54% in English A, and 36% in Mathematics.
Delivering the feature address at the graduation ceremony was Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Raphael Trotman, who told the graduands that God should be their manual, and they should ask Him for direction in everything they do.alt
He noted that the country belongs to them, so they should make every effort to develop their studies so that the country can also develop.
Also charging the students was Dr. Vindhya Persaud, who told the students it was all right if they could not figure out what they would like to become in life, because the sky is the limit.

Headmistress of the Institute, Ms. Camille Deokie, told the gathering she is proud of the students who are graduating, because all their hard work and sacrifices had paid off.
She sincerely wished them well in their future endeavours.
