The beautiful ladies contesting Ms. Jamzone 2013

GUYANA’s biggest summer event, Jamzone Summer Break 2013, has been set for August 16 to 25.

This most anticipated crowd-gathering event has always been the pageant that closes the festival, wherein the queen is crowned at Splashmins Fun Park, located in the Madewini wetlands on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway, a five-minute drive from the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
Three years ago, the pageant — formerly for Guyanese girls only — evolved to include girls from throughout the Caribbean region, who now vie for the title of Miss Jamzone International and a cash prize of US$10,000 and other prizes.
Today, we bring you the delegates of this year’s pageant:

	MISS U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS Name: Keya Canaii Age: 26 Occupation: Chief-of-Staff (Office of Senator Craig W. Barshiner, USVI Legislature) Hobbies: Environmentalism, animal advocacy, community service, astronomy, photography, dance, travel, clarinetist, exercise, gardening/healthy eating & natural medicines.
	MISS ANTIGUA & BARBUDA Name: Netisha Alie Age: 25 Occupation: Primary School Teacher Hobbies: Outdoor activities (like swimming), socializing, modelling and travelling.
	MISS CURAÇAO Name: Marvia Laurence Age: 28 Occupation: Marketing Officer Hobbies: Dancing, fitness, watching movies and reading.
	MISS GUYANA Name: Alicia Bess Age: 23 Occupation: Administrative Manager and Executive Aide Hobbies: Reading, modelling and cooking
	MISS JAMAICA Name: Christol Wilson Age: 24 Occupation: Entrepreneur/Student Hobbies: Charity work, socializing, travelling and cooking
	MISS ST. KITTS & NEVIS Name: Zinga Imo Age: 18 Occupation: Student Hobbies: Dancing, singing, modelling, reading and swimming
	MISS ST. LUCIA Name: Consuelo Dupal Age: 21 Occupation: Front Desk Supervisor Hobbies: Dancing, swimming, spending quality time with family and friends, modelling, planning events, and promotional marketing
	MISS TRINIDAD & TOBAGO Name: Breige Wilson Age: 23 Occupation: Student Hobbies: Dancing, singing, acting, working with children, and promoting self-love in relation to natural/curly hair
