Acting Chief Justice grants 11 offenders bail totalling $3.15M

LAST Friday, Acting Chief Justice Mr. Ian Chang, S.C., granted 11 petitioners bail in the sum of $3,150,000 after they had petitioned for bail for a number of criminal offences, including narcotics possession and rape.

The offenders, their offences, and the amount of bail granted in each instance are listed below:
Possession of narcotics:
Shane Frank was granted $300,000 bail; Jeorney Goodman, $200,000; Adrian Griffith, $275,000;
Nandranie Bechu, $250,000;
Kanesa Evans, $200,000;
Peter Sampson, $200,000; and
Terry Adams, $350,000

Simple Larceny: Albert De Freitas was granted $80,000 bail
Possession of Firearms:

L. Rodrigues was granted $300,000 bail
Possession of ammunition:

L. Rodrigues was granted $200,000 bail
Robbery: Kanesa Adams was granted $200,000 bail, making a total of $3,150,000 in bail granted by the Honourable acting Chief Justice.
