SHAWN Jones of Lot 422 Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara appeared before Cove & John Magistrate Zamilla Alli charged with two misdemeanours.

Particulars of the charges stated that Jones publicly insulted Allicea Glasgow on Sunday, May 5, at Sophia, and behaved disorderly in a public way.

Police contend that Jones went to the home of his child-mother, Allicea Glasgow, and used a series of expletives much to her annoyance. She subsequently reported the matter to the Turkeyen police, and Jones was arrested and charged.

The 20-year-old Jones pleaded guilty to all the charges, and was fined $10,000 or four weeks’ imprisonment on each charge.
