THE Progressive Youth Organisation (PYO) will, tomorrow, host its annual ‘Night of Reflection’ as a tribute in celebration of the life and works of Dr. Cheddi Jagan.
On the 16th Remembrance Anniversary it is fitting that special focus is being placed on Dr. Jagan’s lifelong efforts to empower youths across our nation, the PYO said in an advisory.
The event, which will be hosted at the Cheddi Jagan Research Centre, Red House on High Street, Georgetown is slated to commence at 17:00 hrs and members of the public and the media are invited.
Feature speaker will be Minister of Home Affairs and Executive Committee member of the PPP, Mr. Clement Rohee who was part of the first cabinet of Dr. Cheddi Jagan in 1992 when the party was returned to Government.
The event will further serve to underline the theme for this year’s observation – ‘Cheddi Jagan: Man of the People’.
