Defendant with other burglary case pending remanded

SATESH Madray (no address given) was remanded to prison yesterday, on a break and enter and larceny charge. He appeared before Magistrate Leron Daley and pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said,  on January 15, he broke and entered the dwelling house of Compton Williams and stole one gold chain valued $90,000 and cell phone accessories, priced at $20,000, among other booty valued a total of $518,000.
Police Corporal Vinetta Pindar, prosecuting, successfully objected to bail for the defendant, informing the Court that he has another case, of a similar nature. pending.
The prosecutor said, if pre-trial liberty was granted, the defendant would be likely to commit other crimes.
Consequently, Madray will have to remain in prison until March 5.
