CHIEF Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, yesterday, ordered a couple to seek counselling at Help and Shelter and report back to her on February 8. In the meantime, the husband, Dennis Melville (no address given) was allowed self-bail on a charge of unlawfully assaulting his wife, Althea Melville.
The defendant had pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, that the January 5 unlawful assault caused the virtual complainant actual bodily harm.
