As Linden explained, he and his wife have seen the need to give the children of Guyana a Christmas equal to that experienced by children in other parts of the world, and they would be looking in 2013 to expand this programme to Edinburgh in Berbice on Boxing Day next year.
He noted that there will be some partnership with children’s homes, which they will soon identify before leaving. They will have funding programmes for the kids in those homes, as they are expected to set up a non-profitable organization to aid and assist more persons through such ventures.
“Some of the kids whom we spoke to indicated that they were elated to be a part of this gift-giving activity, and they highlighted that it’s good that citizens of Guyana can remember the children of their country and village when they migrate to greener pastures,” the Frasers said.
The Frasers are expected to meet with leaders and other members of similar donor agencies to better coordinate their events for the New Year.
