MARK George (no address given) faced two charges of robbery under arms before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday.
He was not required to plea to the indictable offences, particulars of which alleged that, on December 4, being armed with a gun he robbed Jean Melville of items valued $9M and Carlotta Melville of belongings worth $360,000.
With no objection from the police, the accused was granted bail in the sum of $1M, pending his return to court on January 9, 2013.
