GRADE 3 Terms 1, 2 and 3 Teachers’ Guides related to the Ministry of Education’s Interactive Radio Instruction Programme has identified me as the writer. In the course of my attachment to the Ministry of Education, I provided advice and guidance to teachers on the expected mode of implementation of the programme, both audio and post audio components, in alignment with its pedagogical approaches and the main theory of governing it.
As it is, I am not employed with the Ministry of Education and as such I am no longer empowered to officially offer guidance to teachers, some of whom still view me as a resource reference.
Kindly permit space in your letter column to appeal to teachers not to expect any input from me that has now been officially assigned. I expect this input to come from the one occupying the position I once held. It is that person’s duty to respond to their needs. My contribution now will be intrusive and unethical.
