PRESIDENT Donald Ramotar arrived at the Lima International Airport approximately 18:45hrs local time yesterday on a Suriname Airways flight with President Desi Bouterse for the VI Meeting of the Council of Heads of State and Government of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR). He was greeted by Peruvian Minister of Trade Jose Luis Silva, after a customary military salute, and escorted under heavy security to the Swissotel, Lima.
A dinner at the grand dining room of the Peruvian Government palace is planned for all the Heads of State on the eve of the UNASUR Summit which has on the agenda peace, security and integration. (GINA)
