KARMANDAT Pershad (no address given) was fined $30,000 with the alternative of six months imprisonment yesterday for receiving stolen property.

Magistrate Leron Daley imposed the monetary penalty on him after he pleaded guilty to the offence, particulars of which, said it was committed on November 8.
Pershad received a cell phone suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained from Xiao Tami Yung.
