Two in custody for Berbice shopkeeper murder

TWO suspects were in custody up to last night and police are continuing investigations into the murder of Whim, Corentyne, Berbice shopkeeper, Winston Ragnauth. Robbers slit the throat of the 57-year-old businessman, of Lot 18 Public Road, Whim, whose body was found about 07:30 hrs on November 7.
The discovery was made by persons who went to make purchases at the shop and saw the door open. They called out for him but got no response.
A quantity of articles had been stolen from the business place of the father of three who lived alone. The retired teacher and vendor was separated from his wife for some time.
