The day saw members of the Petra Organisation Troy Mendonca and Rishawn Sandiford join the staff of the Davis Memorial Hospital, Dr Warren Creed, Kathy Fabriga, Deon Alfred, Raymond Persaud and Rudolph Daly for the occasion.
They made an assurance to the players and parents that the organisers have the best interest in the youths’ safety since it is of utmost importance.
Mendonca testified that the service is quite competent, having worked with them during the staging of the ‘Guinness Greatest of the Streets’ competition held earlier this year.
