HEAD of the Presidential Secretariat (HPS), Dr. Roger Luncheon yesterday announced that President Donald Ramotar is set to make his first official visit, in his capacity as Head of State, to the Republic of Cuba, on October 16 to 20. The Guyanese President will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett.
Guyana and the Spanish speaking island have close bilateral ties and Guyana has received significant support from that country, especially in the health sector. (GINA)
