THE Guyana Police Force, in its continuing efforts to improve the quality of service to the public, has announced that with effect from Wednesday October 10, 2012, the Force has decentralised the operations of the Police Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR). The OPR is the Department that deals with complaints against members of the Police Force and in addition to its main office at Force Headquarters, Eve Leary, other offices are now located at the following Police locations:
** ‘A’ Division – Divisional Headquarters, Brickdam, Georgetown
** ‘B’ Division – Divisional Headquarters, LFS Burnham Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice
** ‘C’ Division – Divisional Headquarters, Cove and John, ECD
** ‘D’ Division – Divisional Headquarters, Leonora, WCD
** ‘E&F’ Division – Mackenzie Police Station
Bartica Police Station
Lethem Police Station
Mabaruma Police Station
** ‘G’ Division –     Divisional Headquarters, Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast
