LESLIE Watson of Lot 63 Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, yesterday appeared before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on a simple larceny charge. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which stated that, between August 23 and 24; he stole one truck wheel, valued $120,000, property of Sookdai Persaud.
Police Corporal Kerry Bostwick, prosecuting, objected to bail and informed the court that the accused gave police an incorrect address.
Watson was refused bail and the matter will be called again on October 18.
