NCN hosts live debate series on corruption– Amaila Falls project first topic

THE National Communications Network Inc., (NCN) will be broadcasting a live seven-part debate series on corruption started yesterday at 19.00 hrs. These debates will be aired twice weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays on Radio (Voice of Guyana) and Television (Channel 11). Invitations have been extended to representatives of government, parliamentary political parties, the private sector and civil society to discuss issues of corruption.
The debate series will be moderated by Al Creighton, Administrator, Academic and Researcher at the University of Guyana and Associate Fellow at University of Warwick.
Yesterday’s debate focused on the Amaila Falls Hydro Project and saw the appearance of the of the leader of Alliance For Change (AFC), Khemraj Ramjattan  and Carl Greenidge from A Partneship for National Unity (APNU) along with several government officials as panellists.
