TWO gunmen relieved two accounts clerks attached to Farm Supply and General Equipment Ltd of a bag containing $7.1M at McDoom, Greater Georgetown, while they were on their way to a city bank. Police said that, at about 10:45 hrs on Tuesday, August 14, the clerks were on their way to a bank when their vehicle was reportedly blocked by a horse cart along the Mc Doom Access Road, and they were robbed.
Two men armed with handguns held the duo at gunpoint, took away the money bag, and escaped on foot.
Police investigations are in progress.
