Cabinet approves appointments of honorary counsul and ambassador -diplomatic relations established with Tuvalu

CABINET has given the approval for the appointment of Mr. Erol Kemal Makzume as the Honorary Consul of Guyana to the Republic of Turkey, according to Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr. Roger Luncheon. Approval was also given for the appointment of Mr. Yousef Ahmad Samad as the Non-resident Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Guyana. He will serve from Brazil.
“In addition, Cabinet approved the proposal for the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Guyana and Tuvalu, and the accreditation of its Ambassador to Guyana,” Dr. Luncheon announced at his post-Cabinet media briefing Thursday.
