Twelve acts confirmed for Jamzone Chutney megaconcert

— Mavado added to Regional Night lineup
JAMAICAN Dancehall megastar Mavado has been added to the star-filled lineup for the Jamzone Summer Break Regional Night 2012 Concert.
The superstar — who was recently signed to the prestigious American Record Label YMCMB, which boasts headliners such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Tyga — will share the stage this August with iconic acts Bounty Killa, Konshens and Baby Cham.
Mavado can be safely considered one of the Caribbean’s most prolific artistes. He is among the few regional acts who consistently release multiple singles year-round, most of which instantly fly to the top of the charts!

This ingenious ability to always remain relevant makes him a permanent fixture on many shows in various countries, including Guyana, which has seen its fair share of the artiste over the past few years.
However, it cannot be denied that David ‘Mavado’ Constantine is taking Dancehall music to the world, and we are fortunate to witness his journey. Additionally, Hits and Jams mentioned that several other acts may be added to the cast.
The Chutney Night Super Concert will also be boosted by an addition, as several performers have been added to the show. Last week we revealed the initial lineup: Karma Band, De Hunter, Terry Gajraj, Soca Elvis, Anil B and the Beamers. Now, De Hitman, Rakesh Yankaran, Rick Ramotar, Sally Sogram, Kenrock and Vanessa Ramotar will also be performing. (MG)
