WHILE their senior counterparts will be relaxing their bodies for this afternoon’s Guyana Cycling Federation’s time trial on the Linden Highway, BMX cyclists from 6 years old to the Open Category will be in action around the inner circuit of the National Park this morning. They will be competing in the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) Olympic Day cycle programme which is being organised by national cycling coach Hassan Mohamed. Five races will be held from 09:00hrs.
The first event will be the BMX Boys 6 to 9, two laps, followed by the 9 to 12 three laps, along with the 12 to 14 and Open categories three-lap events, with the latter to be held twice.
