Man remanded for being found with narcotics & smoking utensils

Charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and smoking, and with possession of utensils for the purpose of smoking, Gary Blackman was not required to plead to the indictable matters before Georgetown Magistrate Ms Judy Latchman yesterday; but was refused bail, and was remanded to prison until July 27. He was allegedly discovered with twenty six and a quarter grammes of cocaine, and five and a quarter grammes of cannabis for the purpose of smoking and trafficking, and with utensils such as cane pipes to facilitate smoking the substances, on June 15 at Albouystown, Georgetown.
