KEVIN George and Quacy Harvey (no addresses given) appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, charged with robbery under arms. Particulars of the offence said, on June 5, in Camp Street, Georgetown, being armed with a pair scissors, they robbed Earl Ramjumar of two cell phones valued a total of $165,000.
Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, had no objection to bail but requested substantial surety and the magistrate set it at $250,000 until June 12.
