Mother of 4 died of fractured skull, cardiac arrest in suspected sex pill death
A POST MORTEM conducted yesterday morning on the body of 38-year-old Mohanie Gobin, of Mora Sparta, East Bank Essequibo, revealed that the mother of four died from a fractured skull. The woman will be buried today in her home village.
Speaking with the Guyana Chronicle yesterday, the woman’s eldest son, Arjune Ramkishore, said that the children who all lived together will now be separating. The 21-year-old explained that his two brothers will be moving to Tuschen Housing Scheme, to live with their father, while the youngest of the lot, his sister, will be moving in with her uncle.
He added that he will remain in the village and continue to live in his mother’s home.
On Monday, at the Quest Jet Boat Service, Roden Rust, East Bank Essequibo, Mohanie’s reputed husband, Ramesh Sattaur, lashed her to the head with a piece of iron, following an argument. It was reported that the argument came about after the woman showed up at the man’s work place to retrieve a mobile phone he had taken from her earlier.
There were reports that the phone may have contained something that would have enraged the man.
Mohanie’s body was discovered in a store room at the Jet Boat property where the man works. After committing the murder, the man then ingested a poisonous substance and died that evening.
Sex pill speculation (cross head)
Meanwhile, a post mortem conducted on the body of the healthy 39-yr-old bus driver, Jaisankar Majeed, also known as Jim, of 50 Patentia West Bank, Demerara, revealed that he died from cardiac arrest.
The man collapsed and died around 03:55hrs on Tuesday morning.
A police source had informed this publication that the man’s wife informed them that she noticed her husband having difficulties breathing, and was perspiring a lot.
Meanwhile another police source had informed the Guyana Chronicle that they suspect the man may have used a sex boosting pill before he collapsed and died.
The family has since called this reporter to refute such claims.
