Donna Thomas murder accused remanded to prison

— next court appearance set for June 20
Anthony Morrison (no address given) is alleged to have murdered Donna Thomas, a former guard of the Professional Guard Services, at her home in Durban Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown some time between May 25 and May 29 last.
Unrepresented by counsel, Morrison appeared before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive Hamilton, yesterday, charged with murder, and was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offence.
Police Prosecutor Corporal Simone Payne requested that the accused be remanded to prison because of the nature of the crime.
Morrison was remanded to prison, and will next appear in court on June 20.
