A MECHANIC appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, charged with fraudulent conversion of motor car parts. Lochan Baksh also called ‘Andy’, 27, of Lot 31 Second Street, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara, faced an  indictable charge, which said, between April 1 and May 30, being the bailee of PKK 6365, property of Sabeka Caesar, he converted a quantity of its parts, valued $438,000, to his own use and benefit.
The accused was put on $150,000 bail until June 4.
