POLICE have detained a man after the search at a mining camp, in Region One (Barima/Waini), yielded an unlicensed gun. A release said the Police exercise was conducted about 10:00 hrs on Tuesday, May 1, at Eyelash Backdam, Matthews Ridge, North West District (NWD).
The ranks found and took into possession the 16-gauge single-barrel shotgun and the man in custody is assisting with the investigations.
