Guyana to benefit from first ever cadre of officers in oil and gas

TECHNICAL Officers within the Natural Resources and Environmental sectors will soon benefit from a 5-day course in Oil & Gas presented by Warren Business Consulting on behalf of Minexco Petroleum which will commence in Guyana on Monday. The course was made possible following representations to Minexco Petroleum by President Donald Ramotar and the Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment, Mr. Robert Persaud to undertake this training course, which is timely as Guyana is optimistic of discovering oil.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment said it welcomes this opportunity to build its technical capacity in the development of the potential hydrocarbon sector of the economy.
His Excellency, President Donald Ramotar will formally open the course, while Minister Persaud will deliver remarks at this very important event on Monday slated for the Regency Suites/Hotel, 98 Hadfield Street, Georgetown.
