Who will advance when Group Two wraps up today?
TODAY, the last two matches of Group Two in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championship  will decide who will move on to the other round as the Guyana National Stadium comes alive at 16:00 hrs to host the double-header.
The opening game will see the visiting teams InterMoengotapoe and Hubentut Fortuna square off prior to the feature game which starts at 18:00hrs between locals Alpha United and Milerock going head-to-head.
Once again, Milerock are way out of contention to progress but, like last year, can still play a major role in upsetting their opponents and ruin their chances of progression.
InterMoengotapoe are ahead on the points standing with six points backed with a goal difference of seven while Alpha United and Hubentut Fortuna are both on three points with a goal difference of one and zero respectively. Milerock have a goal difference of -7 and lost both games played so far, so they have no points.
However, Alpha United if they are not careful can be trapped in an unwanted predicament since the Linden team have given them a run for their money on numerous occasions. In this must-win situation they are expected to be more clinical in their play.
Hubentut Fortuna are stuck with a tough task to conquer if they want to progress as they face the top side in the group, InterMoengotapoe. Hubentut lost to Alpha United 3-1 who in turn were needled by InterMoengotapoe.
The Suriname side, InterMoengotapoe, proved to be a no-nonsense side with great cohesion when they crushed Milerock 7-1 on Thursday.
