Tropical depression in the Atlantic Ocean is sending some high waves to the coast and this will continue for about two more days, depending on the tides, Minister of Public Works, Robeson Benn said Saturday.

Overtopping occurred at several parts of the East Coast Demerara and the water seeped onto the roadway.
Chief Sea and River Defence Officer, Ministry of Public Works, Geoffrey Vaughn, and Minister of legal Affairs and Attorney General, Anil Nandlall were at some areas checking on the phenomenon. (GINA)
