GFF Super League matches on today …

Buxton United, Victoria Kings and Den Amstel in search of points
THREE teams will today launch a points campaign in the 2012 Guyana Football Federation 2012 Super league when matches kick off at two venues.
The first match will form part of a double- header at the Beterverwagting Community Centre ground and will see at 13:30hrs a Linden invasion of the East Coast. Milerock will face Buxton United in the feature game. Before that, East Coast champions Victoria Kings and newcomers Amelia’s Ward clash  at 15:30hrs while at the second venue at  Blairmont Community Centre ground, BCC Rosignol United will meet the second league newcomers Den Amstel at 15:30 hrs.
The weekend matches are expected to bring some keen and exciting football since the lower-placed teams will be on a points hunt.
Buxton United will be depending on Denver Dennis, Jamaal Booker and Les Charles in their lineup while Milerock will be gunning with the likes of Darius Frank, Derrol Dainty, Steve Brewley and Marlon Maxius.
The East Coast champs will depend strongly on former national midfielder Pierie Joseph, Winston Pompey, Calvin and Kwesi de Souza and Andrew Williams in goal, while the Amelia’s Ward lineup will be spearheaded by former national midfielder Travis Waterton, Keon Hall, Rayon Fraser and Terrence Aaron.
BCC Rosignol will have in their lineup central defender Travis Henry, with the support from Roncy Caleb, Tyson Carmichael, Olvis Mitchell and Jamaal Campbell and will face the youthful Den Amstel under the guidance of national all-rounder Kester Jacobs, Andre Hector and Gideon Payne.
