KNOWN for their colossal summer funfest – Jamzone Summer Break — Hits and Jams (HJ) are definitely going all out to preserve their reputation of bringing stellar entertainment to the Guyanese public. Dubbed ‘Easter Fest Weekend’, the packed itinerary will include something for all the family. The fun begins on Sunday, April 8 with the ‘Easter Kids Fest’ Fun Day at the National Park. Apart from the serene scenes of kite flying on a bright, windy day, and the family picnics that we should expect, HJ is planning to include go-kart rides, trampolines, bouncy castles, face painting, and many other family-oriented activities.
The grown-ups will have their fun when the sun sets on Easter Sunday at the Guyana National Stadium at Providence, EBD in the form of a night of classic reggae jams with iconic Jamaican reggae star Beres Hammond and fellow reggae superstar Glen Washington.
At the next day’s super concert, dubbed ‘Rozay Monday’, multiple Grammy-nominated and two-time BET Hip-Hop Award winner Rick Ross will perform at the National Stadium. He will be joined by Jamaican Dancehall megastar Mr. Vegas for the ‘Rozay Monday’ super concert.
