THREE Sparendaam residents appeared on Monday before Magistrate Alex Moore, charged with offences committed against each other. It was alleged that on March 1 at Sparendaam, East Coast Demerara, Denise Lyttle, 32, a hairdresser, made use of abusive language to Donell Cummings, and assaulted Kerwin Allen.
Donell Cummings was charged with using abusive language to the said Lyttle.
Neither woman pleaded guilty to the charges.
This newspaper understands that the two women had a disagreement in which Allen intervened, and the trio ended up in a tussle, causing them all to end up at the Sparendaam Police Station.
Magistrate Moore appealed to the parties to come to a settlement, which was willingly agreed to in court.
The matter was dismissed, but they were warned that any future charges of this nature would be dealt with condignly.
