THE Buxton/Friendship Registered Co-operative Society Ltd, by the Authority/Order of Grant #2592, issued February 22, 1909, will today celebrate its 103rd anniversary. Chairman of the society and proprietor of the Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society Ltd, Leroy Hamer, congratulates the Grantees of the Society on their fortitude and their diligent and concerted efforts at ensuring the continued success of the co-operative.
Affirming that the struggle towards progress and continued success continues, he is calling on all Grantees to keep solidly bonded together, while ‘renewing their energies and redoubling their efforts’ at making the Buxton /Friendship Co-operative Society “one of the most dynamic in our time”.
