Remanded on burglary charge

MAGISTRATE Hazel Octive-Hamilton remanded Paul Richards to prison yesterday, on a break and enter and larceny charge. The defendant (no address given) was not required to plea to the indictable offence, particulars of which said, between February 14 and 15, he broke and entered the dwelling house of Terron Rhanohar and stole tools, electrical appliances and paint, all to the value of $236,500.
Police Sergeant Gordon Mansfield, prosecuting, did not relate the circumstances but objected to bail, based on the prevalence of the crime.
Richards will make his next court appearance on March 6.
