FOOD vendor Dawn Porter, 40, and taxi driver Fitz Small, 35, appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on Wednesday, charged with assault.
It is alleged that, on January 29, in Wellington Street, Georgetown, the duo unlawfully assaulted Gary Lowe. Both defendants (no addresses given) pleaded not guilty and Porter was granted $10,000 bail while Small was ordered to post $30,000 surety, until February 10.
Remanded in Police custody for marijuana possession
MIGUEL Fraser (no address given) was remanded in police custody Wednesday, when he faced a drug trafficking charge before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.
He pleaded not guilty to the allegation that, on January 30, he was in possession of one gramme cannabis (marijuana) for the purpose.
Fraser is to make another court appearance on February 10.
