BRYDEN & Fernandes Inc. held a presentation, at Bounty Meat Centre on Water Street, Georgetown, for the lucky winners who participated in the ‘Quix Quick Cash’ promotion.
This promotion was held over a six-week period, and each participating customer was required to submit two Quix caps or labels in an envelope along with their name, address and phone number. The envelopes were then placed in entry boxes at leading supermarkets and at Courts stores countrywide.
Two names were drawn each day, and those persons were called live on air on 98.1 FM during a 15-minute period between 12:15 and 12:30hrs each day during the Quix Quick Cash Winners’ Week (Monday 5th – Friday 9th).
To win, the participant had to answer the phone saying the Quix 2011 tongue twister, “Quix gets wares clean quick”.
If the customer did this correctly, it won them US$200. If, however, this was said incorrectly, the cash was rolled over to a next caller, so more Quix users had a chance at winning quick cash.
Players who did not answer correctly, nevertheless, qualified for a Quix consolation hamper containing Quix and other Unilever products.
There were ten cash winners, and the seven callers who had answered incorrectly each received hampers.
