RAWLE Cappell (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell yesterday and pleaded guilty to a fraudulent conversion charge. He admitted that, last August 13, being solely entrusted, by Dexter Bovell, with clothing valued $177,900, he fraudulently converted it to his own use and benefit.
The defendant told the Court he went into the interior to sell the merchandise but fell ill and did not. He said he can return it to the virtual complainant.
The magistrate entered a not guilty plea after hearing his explanation, placed him on $75,000 bail and adjourned the case to February 13, 2012.
